Wendy Marie Spurbeck

Wendy Marie Spurbeck, born January 29, 1966, was called home to be with our Savior on November 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Aretta Baumann; her parents, Duke and Mary Spurbeck; and her brother, Rick Spurbeck.

Wendy leaves behind her brother, Bill Spurbeck (Adria Fernandez); her children, Jeffery Spurbeck, Justin McGee, Jocelyn Loran and Vanessa Mahusay; her cherished grandchildren, Quianah, Alexis, Raenah, and Junior; her great-grandchild, Alijah She would call her King; and her nieces, Lorren Spurbeck (Kevin Clark) and Sydney Fleming (Nick Fleming).

Born in Los Angeles, California, Wendy grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where she graduated from Marana High School in 1984. She devoted her career to mortgage banking, working alongside her parents and continuing in the profession she loved throughout her life. Wendy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University in 2009 and remained actively connected with her Marana High School Class of 1984.

Wendy found joy in kayaking with her “bonus sister” Adria and her grandson Junior. She had a gift for lighting up every room she entered. A devout Catholic, Wendy lived her faith through service, love, and teaching catechism to others. She will be remembered for her warm heart, bright spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.
