In Loving Memory of Thomas Ralf Kling
July 26, 1969 – July 8, 2025
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Thomas Ralf Kling passed away at his home on July 8, 2025, just shy of his 56th birthday.
He was the beloved son of Heinrich and Lilian Kling and is survived by his wife Lisa; brother Juergen; children Nathan (Holly), Taylor (Adam), and stepdaughters Daphne Hanson and Sabrina Hanson. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Evelyn, Penelope, and Kennedy, with one more grandbaby on the way, joyfully awaited by Holly and Nathan.
Tom lived a life full of laughter, adventure, and family. He found joy in simple pleasures: grilling on the weekends, cracking a cold beer, firing up the smoker, and planning his next vacation (plans contained in manilla envelopes). He had a love for Mexico, casino weekend getaways, Jimmy Buffett tunes, cruises, and—most of all—spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies who lit up his world.
Known for his constant smile and infectious laugh, Tom was always willing to lend a hand. He had a unique sense of humor and affectionately referred to anything (or anyone) that annoyed him as a “habanero.”
True to form, Tom hated obituaries and funerals—so in keeping with his wishes, we won’t dwell on sorrow. Instead, we’ll be throwing a celebration of life in his honor, full of the music, food, and joy he loved. Details will be shared soon.
Bubbles Up, Thomas, you will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you.
