Robert G. Aydelotte, 76, of Sahuarita, Arizona, passed away on September 16,2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Rosemary Aydelotte. Born on September 28, 1948, Bob dedicated his life to service, both in the military and in his career.
After graduating high school Bob enlisted and proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1969 to 1973, achieving the rank of Sargent, where he earned numerous medals. His commitment to his country was unwavering, and he was a source of knowledge to all who knew him.
Following his military service, Bob continued to serve his communities in Arizona and the United States as a Law Enforcement Officer on the Coronado National Forest with the United States Forest Service, where he worked for 32 years of dedicated service. Known for his professionalism, leadership, and exemplary service throughout the years, he left a lasting impact on those he served and worked alongside.
In his retirement, Bob enjoyed playing golf, attending country music concerts, and dancing with his lovely wife, Rosemary.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, together for 30 years, Rosemary Aydelotte; his godchildren, Jana Clearly and Megan Clearly. A loving mother, Virginia Aydelotte, his brother, John Aydelotte who both preceded him in death. His legacy of service, love, and dedication will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
The internment to honor Bob’s life and service will be held at 11:00am on January 13, 2026, at Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery at Marana, 15950 North Luckett Road, Marana, AZ 85653. Military honors will be rendered at the internment. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Veterans Association, in Robert G. Aydelotte’s memory, to support his fellow veterans in need.
