Patricia Ann Willliams

Patricia Ann Williams, 79, of Tucson, Arizona, died April 19, 2026 following a brief illness. Patricia was born in Georgetown, SC, and was a graduate of Winyah High School. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and later from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, having first become a registered nurse and then deciding to attend medical school. Pat, as she was known to all, became a physician specializing in the field of psychiatry, which she practiced for many years in the Tucson area.

Pat was predeceased by her mother, Martha Anna Williams, and her father, Burr Howard Williams, both of Georgetown, SC, as well as her brother Ronald Williams, of Charleston, SC, and sister in law Glenda Williams of Gastonia, NC. She is survived by two sisters, Rebecca Williams Mayer of Franklin, NC, and Laura Williams Kilburn of North Augusta, SC. She is also survived by nieces Paula Supina, Joy Mathews, Holly Medlock (Justin), Caroline Hammock (Waldo), and Olivia Colón (Marcos), and nephew, Christopher Williams (Jaime), She also leaves behind treasured friends.

Pat lived her life according to strong values based on peace, humility, simplicity, and caring for her fellow human beings. She was an avid lover of the earth, the outdoors and all of the beauty and majesty that nature contains.

A memorial service to honor Pat’s life will be held Saturday, June 6th at 10:00, St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. 3rd St. Tucson, AZ 85716.

Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to The Seva Foundation, an international non-profit organization dedicated to preventing blindness and restoring sight in underserved communities.
