Heather Lyn Griffith

Heather Lyn Griffith passed away from natural causes in Tucson, Arizona, on August 13, 2026, one day before her 58th birthday. Born on August 14, 1968, in Phoenix, Arizona, Heather lived a life defined by intelligence, wit, generosity, and a deep dedication to helping others. Heather was a tremendously dedicated English teacher at Amphitheater High School. She devoted herself to helping her students succeed and was equally generous in supporting her colleagues and others in her community. In addition to her intelligence, sense of humor, and kind and generous spirit, Heather also had a special love for animals.

Heather was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Jack Griffith and Marilynn Griffith. She is survived by her brother, Richard Griffith; her sister, Debi Allemang; and her best friend of 40 years, Melissa Williams.

Heather will be remembered for her devotion to teaching, her generous heart, and the lasting impact she made on her students, colleagues, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
