Florance Claire "Flo" Jasiak, lovingly known as "Flo," passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on May 8, 1932, in Spring Branch, Texas.
Flo was a devoted wife to Leonard Anton Jasiak, who preceded her in death in 2016, and a loving mother to her one and only son, Michael Anthony Hill, who passed away in 2019. She was a cherished blessing to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A woman of deep faith, Flo was a devoted Catholic and an active member of Our Mother of Sorrows Parish. She found great joy in attending Mass and Adoration, reading her Catholic magazines, and keeping up with the news on AOL. Her faith was the foundation of her life and guided her with kindness, compassion, and grace.
Flo took great pride, tending to her beautiful garden and caring for her chickens. She enjoyed sharing meals and laughter with friends at many local restaurants, though Taco Giro always held a special place among her favorites. She was also an active member of several garden clubs, where she shared her love of gardening and fellowship.
She dedicated many years of service to the Pima County Accounting Department before retiring. Afterward, she continued serving her parish at Our Mother of Sorrows, where she remained a faithful and valued member of the community.
Flo's warmth, generosity, unwavering faith, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Our Mother of Sorrows Parish. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass. Flo's cremated remains will be placed beside those of her beloved son, Michael, in the interment wall at All Faiths Cemetery, 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes, Tucson, Arizona 85748 (located just off East 22nd Street, minutes east of Houghton Road). Immediately following, family and friends are invited to gather at Flo’s home to share memories and celebrate her life.
May she rest in the peace of Christ, reunited with her beloved husband and son, whom she loved so dearly.
