David George Stadle

David (Dave) George Stadle, 70 years old from Tucson, AZ, suddenly passed away on October 6, 2026. Dave was born in Globe, AZ and was adopted by Earl and Barbara Stadle. He was an only child. He attended Palo Verde High School and graduated in 1974. Following high school, Dave attended Pima Community College where he got his Associates of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections in 1978.

In 1973 Dave met his wife, Deborah (Debbie) Stadle, at church camp. They were married in 1979 and on the date of his death they celebrated 47 years of marriage. Through ups and downs and all the trials of life, Dave and Debbie stood by each other.

Dave was a proud public servant. He worked in the Pima County Juvenile Court System for 38 years. He ended his career in the position of Community Services Coordinator. During his many years of service, he helped create programs that provided opportunities for juvenile offenders to give back to their community and attain skills that led to jobs. He was passionate about helping youth better their lives.

After his retirement from Pima County, Dave continued working. He did security with A-Team. He enjoyed connecting with a variety of people through his work. He had many fun stories about his adventures, working games, concerts, and a variety of other local events.

Church was a big part of Dave’s life. He grew up attending Broadway Christian Church with his family. He was married at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, and continued to serve the church throughout his life. He served as moderator, vice moderator, elder, and most recently as the long serving property chairperson. He could regularly be seen at the church fixing things, meeting with trades people and assisting with all of the property needs.

Dave enjoyed watching movies (if he could make it through one without falling asleep), Country music and camping. He loved the United States and passionately followed politics and news. Dave loved good food, friendship and his community. His friends and coworkers described him as a kind, generous and loving man. His family knew him as the teller of dad/grandpa jokes who expressed his love through teasing. He was goofy and fun.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, his children, Justin Stadle and Laureen Pew, his grandchildren, Daniel Pew-Kenyon, David K. Stadle, Brayden Stadle, and Maeve (Emma) Kimbell. He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, numerous cousins and many close friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service honoring Dave’s life will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, 740 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85719 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Christian Church or a college fund for Dave’s grandchildren.
