Alyssa Ayn Harris

  Alyssa Ayn Harris was born on August 13, 1996, in Tucson, Arizona, and passed away on August 30, 2025. Alyssa was a loving, funny person. She felt every emotion 100%. Alyssa loved herself and was completely comfortable in her own skin. She could be so brutally honest. She loved watching movies, adored animals of all kinds, treasured her trips to Disneyland, and found comfort and delight in her beloved collection of stuffed toys. Above all, she had a special fondness for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a passion that never failed to bring her happiness and that she shared with enthusiasm. Alyssa also enjoyed traveling with her family, creating treasured memories together. She is survived by her parents, James and Joyce-Ayn; her beloved brother Zachary and sister-in-law Autumn; her maternal grandparents; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. She will also be deeply missed by the staff and members of Mountain Springs Community Services, the program that she helped to inspire. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13, at 10:00 a.m. St. Francis in the Foothills Celebration Center 4625 E River Rd, Tucson, AZ 85718 In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Reid Park Zoo or Square and Compass Children’s Clinics in Alyssa’s memory. Alyssa’s kind heart, playful spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her will always be remembered.
