Alyssa Frances Harris

Alyssa Frances Harris, 32, passed away on September 12, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on October 17, 1992, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Alyssa brought warmth and light to those around her with her generous spirit and vibrant personality. Alyssa was a talented body piercer whose creativity and attention to detail were evident in her work. She had a deep appreciation for art and self-expression, as everyone who knew her could tell by the many tattoos that she had of mortal combat and dinosaurs and the ones dedicated to family. Halloween was her favorite time of the year; her all-time favorite movie was Scream and she loved making scary masks for anyone who wanted one. Outside of her profession, Alyssa found joy in reading and immersing herself in all things Jurassic Park and the magical world of Harry Potter. She also loved playing online games with friends, where her humor and camaraderie made her a cherished companion. Family was central to Alyssa’s life. She treasured time spent with loved ones and was always ready to lend a hand or offer support whenever it was needed. Her kindness extended far beyond her immediate circle—she was known for always offering to help anyone with anything, no matter how big or small the task. She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Alan and Diana Harris; her brothers Justin Heimpel (Cristina), Wade Heimpel, and Cody Heimpel (Shaina); as well as several nieces and nephews who brought joy to her life. Alyssa also leaves behind many aunts and uncles and her best friend Melisssa Sullivan, who held special places in her heart. Taken far too soon, Alyssa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched during her time here.
